Welcome to the network. I just wanted to let you know about some additional resources for green chemistry education.

Green Chemistry Google Map: You can use this interactive map to locate individuals interested in green chemistry education, research, outreach, government, and industry.

Green Chemistry in Education Workshop – the 11th annual workshop will be held in July 2011. Over 200 faculty from across the country have participated in the weeklong, hands-on workshop. Tens of thousands of students across the nation have been influenced by the curriculum that faculty have taken back to their institutions.

Greener Educational Materials (GEMs) for Chemists – on-line resource of green chemistry curricular materials for educators around the world.

Chemistry of Sustainability course for non-majors – this course is becoming a national model for infusing sustainable chemistry into the general education curriculum.

Green Organic Chemistry Lab curriculum – Green Organic Chemistry: Strategies, Tools and Laboratory Experiments, by Doxsee and Hutchison

Green Product Design Network – this virtual center brings together talent from around the UO and the world to catalyze implementation of greener products by addressing each stage of innovation – from chemical content to product design to supply chains to consumer awareness.
