Mchael A. Gonzalez as a ORISE post-doctoral research assistant at
the EPA National Risk Management Research Laboratory. Her project
will focus on finding alternative synthetic routes of
commercially important products primarily using a spinning
tube-in-tube reactor. The reactor has the advantage of a
highly mixed reaction stream to allow for faster reaction rates and
is a continous flow reactor which decreases the amount of waste
produced.
