Chemistry, Contract Lecture
The Chemistry Department is seeking a contract lecturer for the
2010-2011 academic year with possibility of renewal for 2011-2012.
This is a full-time temporary position with benefits.
When fully staffed, the Chemistry Department at Keene State College
consists of six tenure track faculty members with broad training,
active scholarship, and a strong commitment to undergraduate
education. In addition, the department has two technical support
staff and a number of adjunct faculty. An award winning $23 million
renovation and expansion of the Putnam Science Center was completed
in the fall of 2004 providing exceptional classrooms, and well
instrumented teaching and research laboratories. For more

Teaching responsibilities for 2010-2011 will include General
Chemistry (fall and spring) and possibly Inorganic Chemistry with
lab (spring).
Qualifications: Master's degree in Chemistry or closely
related field is required; Doctorate and college teaching
experience is preferred. The academic year salary is
$40,000-$45,000 with benefits, depending on credentials and
experience.
