Green Chemistry Education Network
We are expecting over 600 scientific and industry leaders to unite from all over the world around the globe creating highly valued exchanges of critical information, research, and commercialization processes. The technical programming will be held at the Capital Hilton Hotel. A full-day workshop will be held for students (undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral), and the US Environmental Protection Agency will present the winners of the 2011 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Awards.
Session topics will include: green analytical chemistry, auto industry, biocatalysis, education, entrepreneurship, environmental health science, green standards, life cycle assessment, material science, methods for assessing green chemicals & materials, personal care designing chemicals for low toxicity, pharmaceutical green chemistry, polymers, dissemination of information, publications, recycling methods for electronics, green chemistry approaches to renewable energies, risk issues, separations, solvents, indigenous people and the supply chain, and synthesis. Note that session topics are tentative and subject to change.
